I'm  Vanessa Owen, a freelance artist. I'm based in West Midlands, United Kingdom.

I am largely self taught. At a young age I developed a fascination in drawing people. As a result I specialise in portraiture extending to animals as well. I have been a portrait artist for many years.

I  take portrait commissions, using your photograph(s), to create the bespoke artwork. For either person or pet portrait. Produced as either a pencil sketch or watercolour painting. So if you'd like to treat yourself or someone else please feel free to contact me to discuss you requirements.

 

I also create my own works, these depicting the natural world. I have always enjoyed nature, and all the benefits it offers. I feel it's now important to remind people of it's importance, and it's fragility.  Available as a range of Wildlife art and 'Pet' Animal art, in open and Limited Edition, prints available.
